i am crunchy

i sat out in the sun for memorial day.

me (pre-sun exposure): kinda-pasty, black hair, white skin, freckles, green eyes.

me (post-sun exposure): crispy, bright pink/red skin, more freckles and slightly blood-shot green eyes.

not the prettiest sight.

i should know better.

my friends also introduced me to camping this weekend ... granted, it was in a backyard, but i got the flavor of it. and i actually liked it. i'm really more of a city girl (weekends at the plaza in ny would be more my style) - but my friends really made it fun. i had s'mores for the first time and ate countless chips and drank a fair share of bud light (much to some people's chagrine).
